Al punto: Le pedagogía de Dios y el llamado a la obediencia

Esta crónica especial pretende resaltar algunas de las posturas, preguntas y comentarios complejos que experimentan los catequistas, maestros y papas. Intenta perfilar los conocimientos necesarios para ser fieles a la enseñanza de la Iglesia y que mejor ayudarán a aquellos a quienes enseñamos que nos pidan razón de la esperanza que tenemos. (cf I Peter 3:15) Vemos cómo podemos imitar la ‘pedagogía divina’ para acoger la Revelación por etapas en nuestra transmisión de la fe a nuestros hijos. ‘El designio divino de la Revelación…comporta una "pedagogía divina" particular: Dios se comunica gradualmente al hombre, lo prepara por etapas para acoger la Revelación sobrenatural que hace de sí mismo y que culminará en la Persona y la misión del Verbo encarnado, Jesucristo.’ (CIC 53 – énfasis mío) Los niños del último nivel de pre-escolar estaban preparando unos dibujos para hacer un friso para la pared; estaban ilustrando el verso infantil, ‘Humpty Dumpty’. ‘Pinta a Humpty Dumpty, Luisa,’ dijo la maestra, al entregar a cada niño una gran hoja de papel, ‘Y tú, pinta uno de los hombres del rey, Joaquín; y Débora, pinta un caballo. Miguelito, pinta la pared.’ Quien haya pasado tiempo con niños chiquitos sabe cómo resultó. Al conserje no le pareció gracioso y nunca se logró quitar toda la pintura de la pared. Sin embargo, Miguelito no había sido desobediente – fue sencillamente su comprensión que no estaba a la altura de la tarea. Hizo lo que se le pedía por ciega obediencia. Al mirar la manera en que Dios se nos revela poco a poco, y a lo que se esperaba de nosotros con nuestra respuesta, quisiera destacar paralelos con la transmisión de la Fe hoy en día, e intentar mostrar cómo tenemos que regular y graduar nuestra enseñanza de la Revelación, así como nuestras expectativas de respuestas a esa Revelación. A identificar cómo nuestras respuestas a la revelación de Dos nos ayudan a edificar sobre lo que ya pasó, espero acercarme a la identificación de lo que sería una respuesta apropiada a lo que la revelación de Dios puede significar para nosotros y para nuestros hijos.
